This a Mother's Day plate dated 1983 and endorsed and certified by The Rockwell Society of America and The Edwin M. Knowles China Company.  The number is 17173 I, and is of the first limited edition by Normal Rockwell.  The eighth in an annual series for Mother's Day.  Made in a limited edition permanently closed on May 8th, 1983, by Knowles, America's oldest name in fine china.  This plate is in excellent condition and comes with orginal certificate and mailing box.
