This is a Royal Doulton  character jug, in excellent condition, and his name is Old Charley.  His number is # D5527 and he is one of the small jugs standing 3' 1/4" inches and was issued between 1935-1938.  The Royal Doulton mark appears on the bottom along with the number.  Add this jug to your collection to complete it or just to start one!   Shipping is free for this item.
